Expanding the Detail Section in Access Forms

Thursday December 6, 2007
In a recent forum posting, Lesley wrote:

"I've got an Access database with a form where the detail section is really small. It looks a bit like when in excel you freeze panes so that certain bits of your spreadsheet don't move when you scroll down. Problem is that I've got an order entry form on the main details section of my access form which I want to be able to view as much of as possible without scrolling. Any ideas?"

Hi Leslie,

Are your form or page header/footers exposed and taking up space? Try to reduce the amount of space that they take up, as they get any available screen real estate over the continuous form body.
