Oracle Patches Numerous Security Holes with July CPU
Sunday July 27, 2008
As part of its quarterly Critical Patch Update (CPU), Oracle released 45 security fixes for a wide range of products, including the 9i, 10g and 11g Oracle databases, Oracle Application Server, Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle Enterprise Manager, PeopleSoft and several other products.
These fixes address non-remotely exploitable issues, but Oracle "strongly recommends" that administrators apply them as soon as possible. For more information, read the July 2008 Oracle CPU Advisory.
