"I am new to the forum and a greenhorn at access. I have tinkered with it some but see it is a powerful tool. I am trying to create a database to track my employee training as it is conducted and generate reports of history for a specific employee, class topic, or a manager's employees. Has anyone had any experience in this area? Any help would be appreciated."

Check with http://accesstrainingdatabase.blogspot.com. I think you’ll find what you’re looking for here. Also check with your organization’s HR dept. If their using a system like PeopleSoft, you may be able to get access to the system and track your training there.
