Special Transportation Services for the Disabled
Having a disability often makes it hard to get around, but Miami-Dade is helping to make it much easier. You may have seen the specially marked Paratransit/Special Transportation Services (STS) vehicles around town without knowing what they are. For people with a mental or physical disability having trouble getting to doctor’s appointments, they are nothing short of a life-saver.
